Dreamforce 2018 Keynote Address: Features, Encouragement and Call to Action

Dreamforce remains to be the biggest tech event in the world. With almost 200,000 Trailblazers in attendance and 2,700 sessions of keynotes, training, breakouts and certification, it is the event one should not miss. This year’s keynote address by Mark Benioff was both inspiring and extraordinary.

There were two surprises in Salesforce co-CEO @Benioff’s #DF18 keynote address. Catch up on all the biggest product announcements from Salesforce is always expected during Dreamforce and this year was no different.

Salesforce does not rest on its laurels and believes in progressive innovation. The company also gives importance to customer success and envisions the integration of business solutions with external systems that will offer customers a true connected experience in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The innovations presented during #DF18 included Customer 360 and Einstein Voice.

Salesforce believes that customers are the core of the business and customer engagement is equivalent to success. Customer 360 is a full-range platform that allows companies who use Salesforce apps to develop a single profile for their customers to connect marketing, service, and e-commerce which will enhance engagement.

Einstein Voice is an Artificial Intelligence connection that allows customers to communicate with Salesforce. Einstein Voice will analyze and make the best use of the information the client gives then automatically update pertinent fields of information. The AI can even create tasks and schedules for the client. Einstein Voice will save you time and effort and increase productivity levels through voice commands.

Not only were two outstanding product innovations introduced, Benioff used the opportunity to celebrate and encourage Trailblazers. He notes that it is an incredible moment for them as they have the opportunity and the ability to change the world using business as a platform.

The most important announcement issued at #DF18 was Benioff’s appeal to corporations to be more involved in charity. One of the core values of Salesforce is giving in terms of finances and time. At the event, the company announced that it is giving a donation of $18M to homeless shelters for youth, a local food bank and area school districts.
