Salesforce.og is an independent external philanthropic organization before this merger. Its goal is to aid educational institutions as well as non-profits across the world.

Its work focused on making community resources and cutting edge technology more accessible. It creates solutions for its supported institutions using the Salesforce platform.

In effect, qualified organizations were given access to a lot of Salesforce products and services. They have donated both subscriptions and also given away discounts.
