Fortune Magazine included Salesforce in its list of The World’s Most Admired Companies 2019. The tech giant lands on the 14th spot this year and credits their performance to their employees, customers, and partners.
Propelling Salesforce to the List
There are key attributes that placed Salesforce on the upper part of Fortune Magazine’s list. The cloud computing giant scored the highest in global competitiveness. They also fared well in the following metrics:
- Quality of products and services
- Quality of management
- Long-Term Investment Value
- Financial Soundness
- Innovation
- Use of Corporate Assets
Salesforce’s weakest points as viewed by Fortune Magazine were People Management and Social Responsibility. But despite that, the company finished on the 14th spot out of 500 companies. Salesforce’s rank continues to rise as they were on the 20th spot in 2017 and in 15th place in 2018.
Another attribute that contributed to Salesforce’s skyrocketing positive reputation is their being among the pioneers of cloud-based computing programs. They also have the highest quality for data security in the cloud. These aspects were not lauded in Fortune’s official attributes list, but these are nevertheless worthy to mention here.
Humbled by the Accolade
Salesforce received the distinction with open arms but did not forget the people behind them that drove the company to success.
In a tweet last January 22, 2019, Salesforce announced their inclusion in Fortune Magazine’s prestigious list. The tweet opened with a statement thanking the tech giant’s customers, partners, and employees. They further said that the award truly belongs to these three important sectors.
Moving Forward
Being awarded the 14th place in the World’s Most Admired Companies list doesn’t mean that Salesforce will stop vying for excellence. They pledge to continue working well with their customers, partners, and employees to become an even better provider of cloud-based CRM services.
In a Nutshell
Salesforce was honored to be a part of Fortune Magazine’s annual World’s Most Admired Companies. They rose to the 14th spot after consecutively being in the 15th and 20th places in the previous years. The company humbly credits their success to their customers, partners, and most especially, their employees. They also vow to keep on working towards a culture of trust to further cement their positive reputation in the tech industry.
