What is App Development Without Limits module ?

When you buy a website theme, you are given a disk space limit. This limit is the amount of storage you have in your account. When you exceed this limit, your ability to upload images, videos, or documents will be limited to none. As your disk space limit depends on the size of the files you upload, your choice is to make sure that all of the necessary files on your site do not exceed the limit.

The same logic applies when it comes to using Salesforce’s systems. Organizations are given the same slice of the pie. An organization who consumes all the pie within a 24-hour period will have consumed the system limit leading to functionality and performance issues.

The App Development without Limits Module does not teach you how to delimit your application use. However, it will teach you the ways on how to avoid using up your limit so that your organization can continue to use Salesforce systems without any issues.

In Salesforce language, ‘daily rate limits’ is defined as the allowable flow of traffic between organizations in a 24-hour period. The daily rate limit is set in order to avoid problems when it comes to app performance across multiple organizations.
